Topic: Update problem

Hi Teka.

MySecureShell working like a dream on the servers I have installed it on.

Came into work this morning and see there is an update available. Having a small problem trying to update it though.

Set up repo through YUM and use http://mysecureshell.free.fr/repository … $basearch/ for target addy, but I get an error of.....

Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package mysecureshell.i386 0:1.30-1 set to be updated
--> Processing Dependency: libcrypto.so.10 for package: mysecureshell
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
mysecureshell-1.30-1.i386 from mysecureshell has depsolving problems
  --> Missing Dependency: libcrypto.so.10 is needed by package mysecureshell-1.30-1.i386 (mysecureshell)
Error: Missing Dependency: libcrypto.so.10 is needed by package mysecureshell-1.30-1.i386 (mysecureshell)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
                        package-cleanup --dupes
                        rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

Tried locating libcrypto.so.10 but am having no luck. Is this not available through the target set up in the repo?

Sorry for rambling on but I love this and just want it all working well smile

Thank you for your help so far.

Sean

CentOS

Varying editions from 5.8 to 6.3 and on both 32 bit and 64 bit platforms.

Re: Update problem

Currently MySecureShell 1.30 is compiled under CentOS 6.3

So all dependencies are too recent for older version of CentOS sad
