Topic: problem with upgrade in Debian 6.0.8
Hello,
at first, merry christmas
MysecureShell is installed on my server for a long time. I don't have any problem with it until now, it is a very good program.
I have a problem with tle last upgrade of mySecureShell. I'm in debian 6.0.8 and when I upgrade my server, i have this message:
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mysecureshell : Depends: libacl1 (>= 2.2.51-8) but 2.2.49-4 is to be installed
Depends: libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0) but it is not installable
E: Broken packages
When I search theses lib:
# apt-cache policy libacl1
libacl1:
Installed: 2.2.49-4
Candidate: 2.2.49-4
Version table:
*** 2.2.49-4 0
500 http://datagate/debian/ squeeze/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
# apt-cache search libssl1.0.0
(nothing)
I think that the new version is not compatible with versions of lib in debian 6.0.8 (too old or not present).
Do you think it will be necessary to make different depot fort different debian version ?
Thank you
Have a nice day.
Ced.
