Topic: sftp and scp

Hi there,

i have a user with
test:x:502:502::/home/test:/usr/bin/MySecureShell

it works fine for sftp which i understand by default allowed. i want to give access of scp too to this user. how will it be possible with mysecure shell ? please help folks.

Hi,

Yes you have to authorize shell access to user (beware it's not chrooted !) with tag Shell:
