Hi,

There is no restriction... check your configuration file with "MySecureShell --configtest"

New repository update your OS configuration !

Supported OS (arch i386 and x64):
- Centos 5.5 / 6.4
- Debian 6.0 / 7.1
- Fedora 17 / 19
- Ubuntu 10.10 / 12.04

Direct download available:

Bonjour,

Hi,

Yes you have to authorize shell access to user (beware it's not chrooted !) with tag Shell:
http://mysecureshell.sourceforge.net/en/Shell.html

Bonjour,

Hi,

At this time, you can only specify a log file without variable neither multiple include... sad

Do you really need it ?

Hi,

You can't specify tag Shell like this... you can only specify the binary (no arguments) please use a script and set it as shell in MySecureShell smile

Hi,

Can you post your configuration file ?

Very strange...

Contact me if you have any information.

Thank you smile

Thank you.

If you can give me a VM (VirtualBox ?), i could try to search smile

Ok smile

But it strange since MySecureShell is a shell and does not affect ftp... maybe it's because MySecureShell is specified as a shell for user and ftp doesn't like this...

Hi,

When you upgrade MySecureShell in CentOS, accidently it remove "/bin/MySecureShell" from "/etc/shells".

Please upgrade MySecureShell and add line "/bin/MySecureShell" at the end of "/etc/shells".

The problem is still here ?

Thank you for testing smile

Next time Centos package should be okay big_smile

Are you using Debian / Centos / Fedora ? Because i think it's a bug in the package sad

MySecureShell is missing in the file... i think it's the problem.

Yes since PAM check if a shell is valid (listed in file /etc/shells), MySecureShell should be in this file smile

There is no link between MySecureShell and FTP (Proftpd)...

Maybe it's related to file /etc/shells ?

Bonjour,

I don't think it's a problem related to MySecureShell but more in PAM since i don't see MySecureShell running in log...

File /etc/shells contains line for MySecureShell ?
